What we collect
Information you give us
- When you create an account: your name, email address, phone number and password.
- When you fill out a form (contact, showing request, home evaluation): the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, property address and message.
- Saved favourites and saved searches on your account.
Information collected as you use the site
- Listings and searches you view. We record which property listings you open and which searches you run (for example town, price range and bedrooms), along with the date and time. This happens before and after you sign up, and earlier browsing is linked to your account when you create one.
- Cookies. We use a cookie (
ca_vid) to recognise your browser between visits so your browsing history can be linked to your account. It lasts one year. WordPress also sets login cookies when you sign in (two days, or two weeks if you choose “Remember Me”). - Technical information such as your IP address and browser type, used for security, spam prevention and keeping the site running.
Why we use it
- To provide your account, saved favourites and saved searches.
- To follow up with homes and information that match what you’re looking for, by email or phone.
- To respond to enquiries and requests you send us.
- To understand which areas and types of homes visitors are interested in, so we can improve the site.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Royal LePage RCR, Brokerage, as required for real estate services and regulatory record keeping.
- Service providers that host or run the site on our behalf: our web host (Namecheap), email delivery, and Google Maps for the map on search pages (Google may collect your IP address when the map loads; see policies.google.com/privacy).
- When required by law, for example to comply with a legal request.

How long we keep it
- Browsing records that are not linked to an account are deleted automatically after 180 days.
- Account information and the activity linked to it are kept while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete it and its activity, except where we must keep records for legal or regulatory reasons.
- Form submissions are kept as long as needed to respond and for our business records.
